Workshopping the Ladder of Engagement in your Annual Development Plan

Description: At the June chapter meeting, Michelle Vryn presented on how to use the ladder of engagement model to engage supporters and guide them to higher levels of affinity and action. Join the Values & Skills Institute for an interactive workshop designed to help participants put these ideas into practice. Attendees are encouraged to bring their development plans and real-world questions.

Learning Outcomes:

• Identify opportunities for new donors to enter the ladder of engagement at your organization.
• Identify opportunities to create "delightful experiences" for your supporters, including opportunities to both give and receive feedback.
• Have your actual development plans reviewed by your peers. (Bring extra copies or electronic versions to share!)
• Come prepared with specific questions from your organization.

• This session is limited to 30 attendees. Registration is free. 
• This session has been approved for 1.5 points of CFRE credit. 
• In the spirit of maximizing access to this unique opportunity, no more than two individuals representing the same organization may attend.
• This workshop is in-person and fully interactive. The format is not lecture style. Attendees are asked to be prepared to participate and engage.

Deirdre - a former president of the AFP Greater Austin Board of Directors - has more than 20 years of development experience in Central Texas, serving in leadership roles at organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, Planned Parenthood and - most recently - Jeremiah Program. In April, she was named Chief Development Officer for the Andy Roddick Foundation.
