2022 VSI Sessions

MONTH              THEME

Humans are hardwired for story, making storytelling a powerful tool for nonprofits to build awareness and support for their mission. However, it’s crucial that the stories we tell do no harm. Join us for an interactive discussion about the best practices to tell compelling stories that are also collected ethically, retain the dignity of the storyteller, and advance equity.

Jené Shepherd, MA, Director of Marketing and Communications, Thinkery

This session has been approved for 1 point of CFRE credit.

July                 Workshopping the Ladder of Engagement in your Annual Development Plan

At the June chapter meeting, Michelle Vryn presented on how to use the ladder of engagement model to engage supporters and guide them to higher levels of affinity and action. Join the Values & Skills Institute for an interactive workshop designed to help participants put these ideas into practice. Attendees are encouraged to bring their development plans and real-world questions.

Ryan Ginard, CFRE - Head of Advancement at The Australian National University

Erica Ekwurzel, CFRE - Founder and Owner of CivicAIM philanthropic advisory consultancy
